Basketball basics - 2022 season
League Information
The O.Y.A.A. League (Orthodox Youth Athletic Association) is officially kicking off on Sunday, September 18th and ending on Sunday, December 11, 2022. No prior basketball experience needed. All are welcome to participate.
Practices & Age Groups
Practices are held weekly in the gym at Ascension Cathedral on Saturday mornings beginning Saturday, August 20th.
9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. 3rd – 5th grade Girls Elementary School & 6th – 8th grade Girls Middle School
10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. 3rd – 5th grade Boys Elementary School
11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. 6th – 8th grade Boys Middle School
Registration
$75.00 registration fee per player. Uniforms are provided and must be returned at the close of the season. Also included is the year-end dinner.
Additionally, all players are expected, as part of their service for our community, to participate in the Annual All-Star Breakfast.
Coaching & Volunteering
